Styling and caring for dining tables
Allow roughly 60cm of table edge per diner and at least 80–90cm of clearance around the table for chairs to move comfortably. A centrepiece kept low lets guests see each other across the table, and a rug beneath should extend beyond the chairs.
Dust with a soft, dry cloth and wipe up spills straight away. Use coasters and placemats, and keep the piece away from direct sun, heaters and air-conditioning vents to protect the finish.
