Desks

Desks buying guide

Our desks collection brings together 4 pieces from the Black Orpheus range, priced from $379 to $1,100. Materials across the range include mahogany timber and teak, as listed on each product. Every listing shows its own dimensions, finishes and price, so you can compare pieces side by side before you buy.

What to look for in desks

Measure the wall space and height, and check drawer sizes in each listing. Tall pieces should be anchored to the wall for safety.

Styling and caring for desks

A chest of drawers adds generous storage in a bedroom, hallway or living room while taking up little floor space. Style the top with a lamp and a mirror or artwork above. Tall pieces should be secured to the wall, especially in homes with children.

Dust with a soft, dry cloth and wipe up spills straight away. Use coasters and placemats, and keep the piece away from direct sun, heaters and air-conditioning vents to protect the finish.
