Occasional Tables

Occasional Tables buying guide

Our occasional tables collection brings together 18 pieces from the Black Orpheus range, priced from $189 to $485. Materials across the range include mahogany timber, brass and teak, as listed on each product. Every listing shows its own dimensions, finishes and price, so you can compare pieces side by side before you buy.

What to look for in occasional tables

Match the bedside height to your mattress: the top should sit at or just below mattress level. Consider drawers or shelves depending on how much storage you need.

Styling and caring for occasional tables

A matching pair of bedside tables on either side of the bed creates a calm, symmetrical look; a single one suits a smaller room. Keep the top to a lamp, a book and one decorative piece, and use the storage below to hide everyday clutter.

Dust with a soft, dry cloth and wipe up spills straight away. Use coasters and placemats, and keep the piece away from direct sun, heaters and air-conditioning vents to protect the finish.
